I think that some of these assistance programs are a big f-ing joke.. First of all yeah it is embarrasing to go and stand for hours in a line only to be denied for this pathetic reason or another, but what is even worse is when the “non-legal” too much perfume wearing lady with her coach purse that just came out for a good couple bills and all her kids rockin the brand new j’s that they stood in line for hours for, and wearing their name brands on everything down to their socks comes in with her husbands unreported wages and gets EMERGENCY benefits.. That’s a lil freakin frustrating. I think stuff like that should be taken into consideration. Ne way that is why AMERICA is turning out to be one big fckn joke. And now you have to be BI-LINGUAL to get a job. So because I was born in America and speak the native language and don’t have the luxery of having parents to are spanish speaking now i am UNEMPLOYED and since that my family was homeless luckily my mom took us in but since they keep changing the laws I have been forced to go hungry countless of times to ensure that my child is fed. That is what i want the congressmen and all those other big dogs to consider when they are making their fcked up decisions. Just imagine there are stories worse then mine. children starving I agree to say lets fix america and bring us back before we worry about taking care of any body else’s problems!!!

I know there is a growing number of people who need assistance from one program or another. It is embarrassing , uncomfortable and difficult to have to ask for this help for most of these people. Who gets the help seems to get a hit and miss kind of response, no defined regulations.
The government can’t help all of the citizens who need it, they say, yet the family services offices are filled with non-citizens, the government says there just isn’t enough food being donated to local food assistance programs, and yet again the lines are long with non-citizens. We advertise for prople to send money to foreign countries to help feed their starving homeless, while we ignore our own.
It would be better perhaps to clean up where you live before trying to clean up where others live.

dear sirs, I am 61 years old…not good health need dental..eye..other help.I am on disability…I don,t have enough money per month to live. If I could get a grant to help me get straight…I beleive I could go from there…I can,t get a loan I went on disability in 2002 paid out properly…is there help for the old? I get #20.00 food stamps…840.00 disability..no alcohol no tobacco no drugs..but prescribed…no movies…resturants no decent transportation….never any money for gas.etc.I,ve always tried to do the right thing,,,,can you guide me to help? raymond clontz 115 mcgill ave concord,n.c. 28025…..calll704 891 3031

Im disabeled ,for vouchers and section 8 you gotta wait for years and |’v been denied energy help while every year funds are being made to those who provide “alegedly”Assistance Programs.. what a joke..

they won’t help with bills if you on section8 housing or any of that.so give us something else to work with
