Arbitration is a form of legal advice and mediation to solve the disputes outside the court. An arbitrator is a legal professional who is throughly knowledgeable and possesses good knowledge and experience in law. An arbitrator can give suitable advice on a dispute whether about family law, corporate law, business law, contract law or an employee law. Many companies have been appointing arbitrators to solve the disputes with their employees as ADRs require lot of time to provide solutions to the disputes. An arbitrator can easily find a solution to the dispute outside of the court and this can easily be implemented by the client. Further it also benefits both the parties and saves lot of time. The position and authority of arbitrator is wide and extensive that in some multinational companies, the role of arbitrator is wide that any decision can easily be taken with the excellent knowledge in law.


The duty of an arbitrator is to mediate, negotiate and present facts on both sides and check on as to which decision would be good for solving a problem. It is true that a problem exists anywhere but it is also important to remember that every problem has a solution and this solution is worked out by an arbitrator. Both in terms of local transactions and in international transactions, arbitrations gives good results in the matters of employment and in the matters of consumer. But it is also stated that the role of arbitrator is somewhat controversial because of the fact that the right to approach courts is denied and there is no right for the consumers to make applications to the courts with their grievances.

On many occasions, employees carry lot of grievances in their offices and there is no solution when approached human resource department or a senior manager. In such case, if you can approach an arbitrator and explain the problem, arbitrator would surely be able to provide you a complete guidance and support to solve your problem and dispute.

Arbitration is very beneficial and advantageous to the employees and companies with the fact that both employer and employer can sort out the differences of opinion with the mediation of an arbitrator and can easily resume to the duties. If approached to the court, the consequences may be favorable or may not be favorable. Therefore, if you wish to save your job and time, it is good to approach an arbitrator who can solve your problem and it will also builds and enhances the relationship between your employer and you.


Arbitrator will also decide about the compensation or award that is payable to the client because there is a clear determination of damage, harm or cause of disturbance and this has to be compensated in terms of monetary returns. Therefore in this manner also, arbitrator would be of great help and assurance for the customers and clients. Arbitration has been so far considered as a successful method to solve disputes and conflicts under the present legal system.
