Surely and certainly the legal system is very slow but effective. There can be no best approval or decision other than the court of law. It is very easy to settle a case and some times it is very difficult and in some cases, it may take weeks or months to settle a case. One of the best method to save your time is by writing a demand letter. This is a less complicated procedure if you can organize your writing properly. Take time to go through some of the demand letters and note down important points and terminology of demand letter.
You can also visit internet web sites to search for some of the good samples of demand letters. You can begin your letter by stating about yourself in brief and the reason for your writing. As this is an open statement, it is required to be direct and quite straight forward and use phrases such as I am writing to file a suit against… and so on… Be very firm about the facts and recite events logically and in detail so that it will give a clear picture to the reader to understand you and to understand about your problem. You can also state about injuries, damages, harm or any treatment that you have received by the cause of a situation and in case if you have incurred any medical expenses, you can also mention the amount. You should also mention what action you are expecting from the other party and you have to be absolutely clear in detailing about the settlement. Whether it is a simple process or a complicated process, detailing about the same would save your time and would bring you lot of lump sum as a reimbursement.
The conclusion should be with a consequence of a non-action or inaction on the letter being submitted. That is in case if any action is not taken by the concerned officials of a company or an organization, the consequences would be unpleasant and you must be very clear in stating this as it work out on the other end. The action is from the other party. By writing about threat, it does not mean that you will enter into quarrel or a violent action with the other party but it is a way of stating that legal proceedings further would leave a negative impact on a company and it is not advisable as a negotiation would benefit both the ends in systematic way. In this manner, letter of demand can be written. It must be remembered that the drafting of a letter should reflect your personality and must also reveal about your present problem and how you can go about it by seeking help from the other end. Without the help of other party, you cannot go forward.
The words chosen must be good, meaningful and must give full concept and legality. The company or an authority who reads your demand letter must immediately look into the matter and must work on solving your problem. In this manner, you should draft your letter.
