Law is very vast subject and it has many enactments and provisions which cannot be understood by a common individual. Most of the lawyers are licensed lawyers who have permission to represent in court on behalf of their clients. Some of the lawyers may be proficient and specialized in different areas of law such as bankruptcy, international law or any other law. The lawyers have to deal with various laws depending on the problem of client. Lawyers and advocate also make a huge amount of money as collection of fees towards dealing with several cases of public. Winning a case earns more money for a lawyer. This is a very unique profession that requires, extreme intelligence and thorough knowledge of law for dealing with the legal cases.

In the matters of property, insurance, business and contract and social laws there is a requirement of legal provisions and these have to be referred only by a practicing lawyer or advocate. Most of the lawyers are in practice either as a criminal lawyer or a civil lawyer. In the matters of criminal laws, the individuals who are charged with crime are presented in the court and all the evidences and witnesses are produced in the court to be found either guilty of crime or innocent of crime.

Advocates also deal with litigations, mortgages, titles, leases, deeds, wills, trusts and public interest cases and for handling all these cases, a thorough legal knowledge is required and practicing lawyers always carry sufficient knowledge and talent to manage their clients. Further lawyers also work for non-profit organizations which provide great benefit to the poor and low income society and people. There are patents, government regulations, contracts, and many other legal formalities which have to be dealt with by the lawyers. In general most of the lawyers handle civil instead of criminal cases. Some of the trained lawyers also prefer to work in law schools.


In wealthy families and businesses, there is always a lawyer who is appointed only to take care of family members interests and to give proper guidance in the matters of businesses and corporate matters. The lawyers who are appointed take lot of interest in the family business and also give a complete and thorough guidance to the entire family to protect the interests and also to safeguard the safety of family members.
