Legislative power is the word and writing power of people who are elected to the government. Public who vote and elect senators. Senators are given legislative powers to pass bills that are in the interest of public and which promote development and growth for the nation.  For instance, in the matters of taxation, industrial policy, agricultural policy or for creation of employment or for any issue that deals with the public interest will be taken  up by the legislative powers to make an enactment in that issue. Laws come into existence only when the bills are passed through the senate. Senate committee approves the bills and enactments come into effect.

For instance, insurance policies, public health policies, industrial laws, judiciary laws are some of the enactments that came into effect only by the legislative powers. These are very important in the interest of public and government. Apart from this, the very aspect of whether the enactment is going to  be useful and advantage to the public will be put to acid-test in the senate committee to avoid any future failures through the passing of bills.  Therefore, legislative powers are extremely important to bring large and extensive benefits to the government and for public. The role played by legislative powers in this regard is very  important and a key role is played by the government. The elected leaders who carry powers of execution and to sign bills are thoroughly knowledgeable and experienced in economics, public administration, law and functioning aspects. This being a very important aspect of government system, it carries huge  responsibility in every aspect and every new candidate who enters senate committee, has to be complacent with the procedures, rules and regulations of legislative powers. Often senators are considered as public representatives and who work in the interest of public and to safe guard and protect the economic status and security of the public.

Therefore, public elected leaders who carry legislative powers actively participate and contribute their services by submitting their  side of arguments, debates and notifications or explanations in several aspects of public governance. Therefore capability to convince others is a very important aspect in legislative powers.  Further verbal, written and debatable skills are very important in legislative powers.
