Public Law vs Private Law

Public laws are those which protect the interests of public. Public law details about the state laws in respect of public whereas private law is about the relationships between individuals. Private law or civil law includes law of contracts, law of obligations, law of torts, law of property and family law. Public law is different from private and both the laws different set of rules and regulations for the public to follow at different levels.

In terms of private law, the relationship exists between government and individuals such as with the law of contract or law of torts and these are not within the scope of public law. Private law is an enacted bill and is added to the law. Public law explains the relationship between citizens and companies and also about the states.

Under the theory of public law, there are divisions such as constitutional law, administrative law and criminal law which protect and safeguard the interests of public. Private laws and public laws are in favor and support of public but while applying private laws and public laws there are specific laws for each enactment of private law and public law. Private laws also include labour law, commercial law, corporations law and competition law.

The laws are immensely useful as they are protecting and safeguarding public for every purpose. Without public and private laws, it would be very difficult to solve the conflicts that arise by the cause of torts, contracts, family or by any other reason of dispute. Every state and nation has public laws and private laws. Both the laws have to be protected by making lot of improvements to the present code of private law and public law. As of now, there are thousands of cases pending under public law and private law and as the court proceedings take time, the decisions and court judgments are final giving punishment to the guilty and paying compensation to the innocent.

For the common people, who are seeking justice private law and public come as a safety measure to protect their lives from every danger. Because law is very strong and each provision of law is written in the interest of public favor and for the future also, both public laws and private laws are expected to grow more stronger and would earn lot of confidence from the people. Further in the presence of law all are same and there are no rich or poor except indicating innocent and guilty.

For every problem whether it is about property, family, trading, contract or tort private law details every solution to the pending case. Therefore, people who approach courts for decisions, have to abide by the decisions of the court and to the best of knowledge of all the people, the judgments hold good for the people as these are in favor of people. It is also good if the common people are thorough with the regulations of private law and public law as awareness lessens the disputes and conflicts.
