yes;you are right. there will be no cost of living raise in 2010. i only get 674 dollars a month. i have an electric bill that run,s 250 to 300 dollars a month.i have to buy food shampoo toiletpaper dish washing detergent a telephone bill at 35 dollars a month laundry detergent and so on i have a property tax bill of 365 dollars hanging on my board of bills to pay. an that was due 12-5-09.the list goes on and onandon.yes,i recieve very little help from .a whooping 64 dollar food stamp card. cooling and heating asistance during the year , if my county has it to pay. god bless those who are strugleing an i hope you have a good christmas and a better 2010..

You have got to be kidding me how can this GOVERNMENT expect the disabled that recieve ss disability not recieve a cost of living raise this year the. Prices are going up for everything utilities, food, etc. etc. Hey president Obama do you know how much a loaf of bread costs, or how much the average american has to lives on I’m sure you don’t. We are living in a country that DOES’NT revear their old and disabled we are not cost effective we are considered a liability

Seniors and the disabled depend on social security. For them not to receive a cost of living raise or even the stimulus payment is unconscionable. Their social security check is being stretched to the limit. What are they supposed to live on? Everything costs more, our seniors and the disabled live in poverty conditions. The government gives hundreds of thousands of dollars to businesses only for them to turn around and go bankrupt. That does not seem fair. Obama is helping out the rich and powerful, his friends and those who helped him get elected. Unless you have money, you don’t count. Senators and Representatives get their full salary for life when they retire, so they don’t care about social security.

We really a tax rebate in 2010, more then the 400$ from the stimulus tax cut. Hard working americans are having difficulties paying rent and food for their family. Too much is spent from big company while bonus are paid to ceo. the working class doesnt have anything and the governement isnt helping either. more money for everyone is needed, not jsut for a few of big shot bankers whose bank fees to simulate their earning and bank revenue instead of growing the potential of their bank with quality of service. More stimulus measure need to be taken. more measures that will help the general population.
