What is Stimulus Check:  The stimulus check is the free money that the American Government gives to the people in order to support them to recover from the impacts of economic crisis and to boost American economy. The term “stimulus check” was first used in 2008 when then President Bush decided to give a $600 stimulus check to every American taxpayer.

The Economic Stimulus Program of 2009:  In the economic stimulus package of 2009, also known as American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, the American President Obama has included many types of stimulus checks to help Americans. In this package, Obama has offered to give one-time $250 stimulus checks to all social security receivers and also to disabled veterans. It also supports the distribution of stimulus checks to the taxpayers in the form of reduced paycheck income tax withholding.


Stimulus Check Eligibility Criteria:  You can claim the tax debate only if you meet certain stimulus check eligibility criteria. The main stimulus check requirements are the following:

  • In order to get stimulus check, you must be employed or self employed and paying taxes.
  • You should have a valid social security number.
  • Your maximum annual income should not be more than $95,000. If you and your spouse are submitting a combined stimulus request, the joint income should not be more than $190,000.

    why are some poeple getting stimlus checks for up to $7,000. and some people are not getting any. Whats up with that.

    People who are unempoyed, who have never worked, or on disability, are getting stimlus money ?????

    i would like to know if i get a stimulus check. i get total disability. i have worked for many years. then i had a heart quad by pass and i couldnt work anymore. that was 2000 i was put on ssdisability in 2001. i never received a stimulus check and i dont know why. please tell me something if i am eligable for this stimulus check. if so when can i look for the check and it can be directect deposited in my bank. by the time i pay my rent and utilities i dont have any money left. thank you

    why couldnt i get a stimulus check and the crack dealers next door did? i guess obama is true to the sterieotypical… he supports crack dealers. this is wrong. the dealers are “self-employed” in crack dealing. i was employed at georges italian bar and grill in salisbury, nc. i worked hard every day even sunday. i guess they worked hard selling their dope…

    I would like to know if I am eligible to receive a stimulus check for the 2007 to 2009 period I was receiving these fund. Under The Federal Recovery Act. At this time I have all the info we would need. Thank you. Connie.

    i would like to know when we are getting the 2010 stimulus check living on a disability check is not enough money to get buy with we didnt get a raise in ss so fork it up and give us the money people like me and my wife sure could use it i would like to have some new clothes since i havnt been able to buy any in over 10 years now so give us the money or get out of office dont promise us something and then take it back that sucks.

    i feel that mr obama did and is doing his best to fix what our past presidents have mess up and as for those of you who complaining about mr obama stimulus this year should think back and realize that mr obama did give us a stimulus check last year and he trying his best to help every one and i don,t believe that he is messing over no one and look at this with a open mind and come to realize that mr obama is and have did for us all since he been in office because you all who keep throwing up hot air about mr obama job need to look back at all the good he have did for the people and he is in full control of the matter,. so please you all need to stop complaining about the bad he doing because mr obama is not doing nothing bad against us,. the man doing his best to help us all,. so give the man a break and stop complaining.

    i was wondering im on ssi and the 2 yrs ago stimulas i filled out the w-4 form and got a check in mail back for 300.00 is this years stimulas 250.00 a check that i can get if i fill out the tax form again thank you pls respond with answer rene williams 661 200 3868

    Just because we worked all our lives then decided to retire at a ripe old age, why should that go against us? We paid our taxes and dues to keep the rich rich if not make them richer, We kept those that don’t want to work assured they would still get a welfare check that is probably more than what we draw from both our retirement and SS combined. We have faithfully fed the world via foriegn aid, we have fed, housed, employed, paid for their health/hospital care, every illegal immigrant that has entered this nation of ours but we still don’t qualify to get a measly 250.00 check?

    I strongly believe we as the seniors of this nation need to wake up and ask our legislators, congressmen/women and our Senators to ask for the impeachment of Mr. Obama. I don’t and refuse to call him president Obama since he is niether a legal citizen of this great country of ours nor is he looking after the interest of this country. he has done everything conceivable to breal this country financially. Hell, he won’t even sign a death sentence for anyone that is a muslim even if they took part in the 911 catastrophy or any other act of terrorism against this nation.

    We (seniors) are the majority and we should be heard.

    My significant other(now my husband) had a brain aneurysm in 2000 and is required to now have 24/7 care.In stead of placing him in a home I agreed to care for him. However I didnt “qualify” for economic stimulas because “I” am not a working taxpayer. The state would have to pick up the tab if he were placed in a LTC facility and yet there is no program to supplement the SS for us or a program implemented so that I can get some kind of compensation for giving him the 24/7 care. Social security is not enough to live on and I can’t work outside the home or is there a job out there where I can bring him along with me?! I couold get Adult Day Care I guess but that would defeat the purpose of working for extra monies as what ever I made would have to be payed out to that. HELP!!!?????

    I think it’s appalling that seniors on soocial security are not able to benefit it was our raise that was taken which hurt us because the cost of living has increasd which means we cannot eat healthy or afford meds it’s ashame how gov. Throws away our seniors

    be foward straight up is there going to be a stimulus check yes or no.cause boy i do need money being a single parent it’s hard enough the economic its still the same.everything is going up soda,clothes food everything except our paycheck this world its crazy.sometimes i really dont understand they have money to make new building,bridges everything how about the poor nothing.they making new building for people who already have money to work.for me it’s all scam.blot for the people who has money.then they wonder why people complain too much

    I work for a verry small plumbing company. About two years ago the office manager/ owner’s wife had brain anurism.Leaving him to run the management of the company.He was unable to keep up with the finances and now faces severe financial problems. Is there a progam that could help his company?
