I retired on 9/30/09 and read that I would have to have been retired in 2008. I don’t understand why? I didn’t receive my first SS retirement check until 11/09. Shouldn’t I be awarded a portion of the Senior Citizen SS retirement stimulus allotment for 2009? Also, there has not been any up-dates regarding the delay or when the checks will be mailed out.

I was told that I should get my stimulus by May but have not received it yet. Who do I call to check on this and find out if I should get this money. Was told because I received last year that I was going to get again this year. Is this true?

I am 68 yrs old,on Social Security, 2009 stimulus helped me,we didn’t get raise ,the 250. dollars helped me and many others ,seniors I’m speaking of. thank you, Mary Lowe.

When do I get any stimulus money? I have been waiting since February of 2008. Mind you, I haven’t made alot of money but enough to get a package.
